I think my goal for the Hawks was well-stated in our original mission statement:

"The Torrey Hawks Hang Gliding Club is dedicated to promoting and
protecting the sport of Hang Gliding at the Torrey Pines Gliderport."

Of course that also means protecting the pilots who practice the sport of hang gliding at Torrey Pines as well. Living up to that simple mission statement has been my pledge to the members of the Hawks for the last three years. I hope it will always be the pledge of all future leaders of this great little club.
